Montréal, September 15th, 2021 – The Old Montreal Society for Commercial Development (SDC), with support from the Arrondissement Ville-Marie, is proud to stream the 2nd season of its exciting web series FABRICANTS D’ÉMOTIONS. Strong off the success of its first season, this natural continuation stems from the same desire to support local production in the historic neighbourhood through the promotion of its collective business community. “This project falls directly within our vision for developing the local economy in Old Montreal, with a human approach oriented on content first. It demonstrates the constant dynamism of our business community,” says Mario Lafrance, General Manager of the Old Montreal SDC.
In fact, betting on the humans that make Montreal’s historic neighbourhood shine daily in order to attract a local clientele is exactly the wager that this organization has made by creating this rallying and affecting web series full of the good energies born out of “le Vieux” business community: “The objective of this 2nd season is to support local businesses in an original way by exposing a sense of belonging to the neighbourhood and by presenting varied and charming personalities,” mentions Fannie Pratte, Deputy General Manager of the Old Montreal SDC and head of this project. Bursting with stories, anecdotes, and people, the richness and spirit of the historic neighbourhood can be felt in not only its ancestral stone, but in entrepreneurial tales as well.
In these 8 episodes, you will hear the passionate stories of business owners that have contributed directly to the commercial vitality of Old Montreal.
