We all scream for ice cream!

We all scream for ice cream!

With the temperature rising, taking a second (a quick second!) to enjoy a good ice-cream cone is an absolute must. Here are some places in the neighborhood that are worth visiting.

MLLE CATHERINE

The sculptural beauty of these cones from Mlle Catherine, which is only a stone throw from the Old Port, will fill both the heart and belly of any aesthete. In addition to the gelato, the ice cream of the moment’s flavour is changed weekly.

DAIRY QUEEN

From ice cream cones to blizzards, you will discover on the other side of Place Jacques-cartier their unique and classic taste with each bite!

LA DIPERIE

Not far from there, La Diperie will satisfy even the pickiest palates with more than 40 different kinds of toppings.

PAQUEBOT CAFÉ

At this address, the way the ice cream sandwiches are made here is a story of collaboration: the ice cream is made with coffee roasted by ZAB Café, the cookies come from Paquebot, and everything is then assembled by Mollo Café. Needless to say, this dessert brings out the best in everyone!

LES GLACEURS

Welcoming you amidst their cakes and cupcakes and on the other side of Saint-Laurent, Les Glaceurs invite you to indulge in their creativity! Wielding sprinkles like no other, they’ll be able to provide you with everything you need to satisfy your sweet tooth.

LE PETIT DEP

These twists are as tasty as they are cute! Plus, the flavor combinations change every 2 weeks at their 2 locations.

MAISON CHRISTIAN FAURE

Did you know that Old Montreal counts a Meilleur Ouvrier de France glacier among its members? Chef Christian Faure crafts his ice creams and sorbets in the distinctive house tradition at Place Royale. 85% of the sorbets are made up of tasty mature, sun-drenched fruits. And the ice creams are made from fresh milk and other high-quality ingredients like praline, chocolate, and vanilla pods.

LAPOP

As with their waffles, the way to enjoy a LovPop is simple: pick, dip, top. In addition to being decadent, they are free of artificial flavours, colours, and preservatives and do not contain gluten or dairy products.

CAFÉCITO

We love it when #GensDuVieux work together! Therefore, we were delighted to learn that the LovPops from LApop on Saint-François-Xavier are also available further west at Cafécito on rue Prince. Additionally, you will also find Bouza’s exquisite Syrian ice cream in this lovely Cuban café!
