Considering the current crisis, we have put together various official announcements to keep you informed of the state of construction sites in Old Montreal.
Resumption of work from May 11th
The city of Montreal has announced a new phase of construction as part of the Viger Square redevelopment project, starting on May 11th. Indeed, the work on the square will resume in order to complete the construction and infrastructure of the park pavilion, so citizens will be able to see the new square emerge in the coming months.
Starting May 20th, major construction work will be carried out in the streets surrounding the square in order to replace infrastructures and repair the roadway and sidewalks.
Work duration and schedule:
• Current phase: from May 11 to the end of September 2020
• Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and possibly on weekends, as needed.
