From April 4th to the 30th, Old Montreal will have its own urban sugar shack! Taverne Gaspar has decided to bring this Quebec tradition to the heart of our neighbourhood, to ring in the coming of the nice weather!
Following the sentimentally significant concept, executive chef Khelil Ben Ammar specifies that “the comforting and gourmand cuisine from Gaspar lends itself very well to the traditions of the sugar shack. We would like to extend an excellent showcase of local products, while offering an experience that is fun and accessible to all.”

ON THE SUPPER MENU
Enjoy a three course table d’hôte service featuring braised pork ribs and a beef puff pastry. Gaspar promises a marriage of simplicity and refinement, and you will find several comforting dishes and sugar shack classics, such as the unmistakable maple taffy.
ON THE BRUNCH MENU
Every weekend, you can take part in a two-service brunch table d’hôte themed around sweet and savoury flavours: baked beans, French toast, fried chicken and waffles, and other gourmet dishes, all enjoyed best with bottomless mimosas!
