Conférence de l’ONU sur la biodiversité - COP15

La Conférence de l’ONU sur la biodiversité (COP15) se tiendra du 7 au 19 décembre au Palais des Congrès.
En raison des mesures de sécurité importantres mises en place pour l'événement, la mobilité autour du Palais des Congrès sera perturbée et des fermetures de rues sont à prévoir dès cette semaine.
Un périmètre de sécurité sera instauré et l'installation de clôtures se fera d'ici au 27 novembre.
Seules les personnes accréditées auront accès à l'intérieur de la zone sécurisée du 1er au 20 décembre. La station de métro Place-d'Armes sera également fermée durant cette période.
Toutes les mises à jour seront partagées via le groupe Facebook Gens du Vieux. Nous vous invitons à le rejoindre.

Order an Angelot
Attention nightlife sector of Old Montreal
In partnership with the Social Collective, the City of Montreal has instated the "Order an Angelot" certification protocol in order to create a network of safe bars across Montreal. This initiative aims to spearhead actions toward raising awareness against harrassment and sexual violence during holiday events, in public places, and bars in Montreal.
French Language Recovery Awareness Rasing and Information Campaign
Under the City of Montreal French Language Recovery action plan, the Service for Economic Development (SIDE) is proud to announce the launch of their awareness raising and information campaign directed toward business owners.
The objectives of this campaign are as follows:
- To promote the French language among the Montreal business community and local economic development organizations;
- To help adopt French as a business language by informing you of new support services offered by the Quebec Office of French Language specific to businesses employing less than 50 persons;
- To spread the City of Montreal's Action Plan for the Recovery of the French Language;
- To raise awareness and inform businesses, restaurants, bars, etc.
