A public agency to improve the efficiency of Montreal's public transportation

EXO's mission is to expand public transport services to improve commuting efficiency in the Greater Montreal area.

Since it started out in 1996, they have been making the most of its expertise to plan, operate and promote public transit in Montreal and its environs.

To help them fulfill this mandate, they have been conferred the status of a government agency with a metropolitan vocation, and they report to the Quebec Transport Minister.
